Our client’s brand is one of the fastest growing workwear brands in the Dutch market, and they serve many of the major end-users. The core business model is direct-to-customer sales through frame agreements with corporate customers. Our client is looking for a high calibre Area Sales Representative to help reach strategic objectives in the Dutch market. The primary focus for this opportunity will be to add to the customer portfolio. To be successful as the Area Sales Representative, you should have strong commercial commercial and negotiating skills as well as an extensive relevant local network. Industry and product knowledge of workwear and PPE is a requirement. Good knowledge and understanding of the end-user landscape and procurement behavior is another desired competence. Outstanding candidates should be able to work without the extensive supervision and demonstrate cultural sensitivity.

Function

  • Independently achieve annual budget and contribution targets
  • Researching the market and region thoroughly and adapting strategies accordingly
  • Implementing the brand strategy as well as ensuring consistency in all client messages
  • Building professional relationships with clients
  • Building and maintaining the reputation and values of our organization
  • Key Account Management

Requirements

  • Strong market knowledge
  • Documented negotiating skills
  • Strong commercial background
  • Extensive and well documented sales competence
  • Fluent Dutch and English language skills, other language skills may be an advantage
  • The position will be in Holland, but may require both domestic and international travel
