Business context and background

  • Within our customer and concept “Connected 4 Growth”, they globally rolled out the Category Country Business Teams and Brand Communities, the merging of Brand Development and Brand Building into one Marketing, and single point accountability in the Supply Chain.
  • Customer Development docks in the Channel & Category Business Teams through a Channel & Category Development Manager who brings channel and customer insights in the CCBT and translates the category plans into customer and channel plans for his field and account management colleagues.
  • CCD would play a large role in CCBT complementing the marketing organization with the CCD head directly managing largest or strategic category (double hat) and therefore create greater impact.
  • The purpose of this role is the development & execution of Channel & Category building plans to deliver targets for the year and also lead and drive the CD/ Customer/ Channel agenda in CCBT and cross company processes such as S&OP, IBP/IPM & NRM.
  • The role will be based in the operating company.

  • S&OP – Drive CD business performance
  • Integrated Business Planning/ Innovation Portfolio Management
  • Channel Strategies incl Ecommerce/ Omni-Channel by geography to win in-store/ online
  • Holistic Customer Investment (Trade, Shopper Marketing, In-Store etc)
