Our client (insurance sector) is looking for a temporary cost management consultant in order to support the senior management in having a clear insight on the nature, the drivers and the allocation of the general expenses and to support the planning and control team in the strategic plan exercise.
Use experience from the field to understand and help improve the work process and interfacing for elements of project and cost management, such as:
Estimating and budgeting
Earned value management
Have the skills to prepare and validate cost estimates throughout the project lifecycle with state-of-the-art tools and techniques.
Cost data analysis
Study cost data to find cost estimate relationships and build cost estimate models, estimating methods and templates to improve the estimating techniques.
Cost control: Can apply cost control and earned value techniques to monitor, assess and forecast project performance.
Sharing knowledge :Have the skill to share knowledge and experience about cost management. Requirement not only to implement the process, but also to know how to teach people and bring everyone on board.
