As Sales & Marketing Effectiveness Manager you will be responsible for:

Commercial Boost and Sales & Marketing Effectiveness Programs

Drive strategic account management initiatives as well as other organizational activities geared at improving account & sales effectiveness (commercial boost program)

  • Support branches to develop strategic account management thinking: highlight importance of account targeting, profiling, sales & activity planning and execution
  • Develop a simple tool to report and monitor objectives, strategies and key quarterly actions in selected key accounts
  • Promote out of the box thinking in identifying ways to generate incremental business in selected key accounts
  • Collaborate with branches and BU marketing team to implement targeted programs in selected key accounts
  • Be the driver to keep focus on the execution of deliverables at key accounts during business review meetings at BU and branch level
  • Drive cross-functional teamwork at the account level and motivate members of the different account teams to ensure their competences, skills and know-how are used to the best advantage to (over)achieve the financial targets
  • Role out a newly selected CRM tool and motivate colleagues to use it in a correct way supporting marketing and sales effectiveness
  • Develop and monitor marketing and sales KPIs in close collaboration with marketing and sales management
  • Provide strategic analysis related to account profiling and other business analytics
  • Develop and maintain a database with key market data at hospital level
  • Use obtained hospital data to develop and maintain a simple and comprehensive account segmentation
  • Use obtained hospital data to guide branches to optimize territory coverage, market penetration and account targeting
  • Monitor revenue and gross profit evolution of selected key target accounts and benchmark against other accounts
  • Provide management support to the Head of Operational Effectiveness

Product knowledge

  • Appropriate knowledge of interventional and peripheral cardiology/radiology/oncology


As Sales & Marketing Effectiveness Manager you have:

  • A master degree in Applied Economics, Commercial Engineer, Business Administration or Marketing
  • Min. 3 years of relevant working experience in a sales or marketing position is required
  • Experience in the medical device business is a plus
  • Experience in implementing and using CRM tools
  • Practical knowledge of finance, sales & marketing techniques.
  • You can combine an analytical mindset with strong communications skills. You have a diplomatic style and are an influencer
  • Perfect knowledge of the English (written and spoken) language plus at least one other European language.
